Laser micropeel to smooth the outer skin texture, no downtime

An Erbium : Yag laser is an ablative laser, meaning that it vaporizes the surface layers of the skin.  It is a full-field treatment, meaning that the entire surface of the skin is treated.  Treatment strength can be varied and customized for the problems for each individual patient.  This is our favorite tool to help improve light hyperpigmentation, and surface lines and textural issues

What is a Nanopeel (lunchtime peel)?

During the Nanopeel or lunchtime peel, only the outer damaged stratum corneum layer is removed, and there is no downtime.  This is performed without numbing cream, and takes about 15 minutes for a complete facial treatment.  This is equivalent to a series of several microdermabrasion treatments.

What is a Micropeel (weekend peel)?

During the Erbium micropeel or weekend peel, a mid-epidermal depth of approximately 20 microns is reached.  This helps to improve sun damage and hyperpigmentation, as well as surface textural issues including rough or sun-damaged skin, bumps, and fine lines.  Numbing cream is applied, and the treatment is virtually painless and takes about 20-30 minutes to treat the face and neck.  Downtime includes pink skin and peeling which lasts 3-4 days.

What is a Lip Peel?

This is also our favorite laser to treat smoker’s lines around the lips.  During the treatment, only the “perioral subunit” is treated around the lips and mouth.  Higher energy settings are used to sculpt each individual wrinkle, eliminating etched in lines.  The procedure is performed with numbing injections, and is completely painless.  Recovery lasts 5-7 days, with moist skin fading to pink skin and peeling.  Results are immediate after healing.

Can this be combined with other treatments?

Absolutely!  A popular low-downtime combination includes SecretRF for deep tightening and skin remodeling, with the erbium micropeel to help smooth the surface of the skin.
