We perform a wide variety of reconstructive procedures for the head and neck.  Most commonly, patients come to our practice for skin cancer reconstructive surgery.  We use a “modified MOHS” technique, meaning that we remove the skin cancer in office, and a pathologist evaluates all of the margins using frozen section to be sure that the cancer is completely removed.  This is performed while the patient waits, and we usually then perform reconstruction the same day.  Various methods can be used including primary closure, local flaps, and skin grafts.  We are your local experts in facial reconstruction, and you can be sure you are in the best hands to treat your skin cancer while leaving you looking like your normal self.  In addition, we offer laser and other treatments after surgery to further improve healing.

We also perform facial trauma reconstruction, including plating of facial fractures.  This is typically performed under general anesthesia at the hospital.
